Laptop Buyers Guide
Conclusion
As with many major purchases it really pays to do your research. You wouldn't spend £1000 on a car, HIFI or new TV without knowing what you were buying yet many people buy laptops like a loaf of bread and end up disappointed. There is a lot of mis-information and marketing information which is bewildering to the buyer. I really hope that this guide has helped to make things a little clearer but you shouldn't stop here. Make a shortlist of suitable laptops and read as many reviews as you can, ask people about their experiences and be a little wary of sales assistants who don't seem to know what they are talking about (there are far to many of them around!) Laptops are an entirely different ball game to desktop PC's and you should seek advice and guidance from laptop experts. Don't be afraid to call companies and ask them for advice but don't be pressured into on the spot decisions. Take your time - you will be glad you did.
A good reliable laptop is one of the most useful inventions of the modern age. Many people including myself are complete converts and it really will change the way you work and make you more productive.
I really hope you enjoyed this guide and have fun!
